Coming from a middle-class background and earning around ₹28,000 per month, buying a new phone is a big step for me. Yesterday I took the OnePlus 15 on ICICI EMI, total cost ₹74,000. I thought this will be a perfect upgrade, but after only one full day, I am already regretting it. Why My EMI Turned Into Stress (OnePlus 15 Disadvantages After One Day)
When I bought it on EMI, ₹6,000 per month looked simple. Unboxing also felt good. But within hours I understood one thing clearly: the hype and reality are totally different. Battery dropping fast, camera issues, heating during videos, small bugs — everything came on the first day itself. Now, instead of excitement, I only feel EMI tension.
OnePlus 15 Camera Issues – My Birthday Photos Got Spoiled
Last night was my birthday, so I went to my terrace for a small cake cutting. No lights, only candle light. I wanted to click some photos to share with my family. But the OnePlus 15 camera failed badly at night. Photos came full of noise, too much grain, and the chocolate cake even looked reddish. For ₹74k, I expected at least decent low-light pictures. I deleted all photos immediately. My birthday mood went half down because of this camera.
OnePlus 15 Battery Life – Dropping Very Fast at 29%
By evening the phone reached 29%, and from there the battery started draining super fast. Just opening WhatsApp, small scrolling on Insta — the percentage was dropping every minute. As a middle-class guy on EMI, battery confidence matters a lot. Instead of feeling safe, I felt scared it will switch off anytime.
OnePlus 15 Overheating During Video Recording
I tried recording a small birthday video on the terrace. Within 7 to 10 minutes, the phone became hot in my hand. Actual burning feel. The video started lagging, frames skipping, and it looked totally unusable. Hyderabad weather is already hot, and this phone is heating even at night. This was a big disappointment.
OnePlus 15 Software Bugs – Small Glitches All Day
Apps freezing sometimes, notifications coming late, and scrolling also feeling jerky. For this price, I expected everything to be smooth. But full day I felt the software was confused and unstable.
OnePlus 15 Design – Just OK for the Price
Design looks slim and fine, but the grip is not good. Very slippery feel. For ₹74k, I was expecting a premium touch, but honestly it feels like a normal ₹30–35k device.

If you are planning to buy this on EMI, please think twice. One day was enough for me to feel full regret. Battery, camera, heating — all major issues. For this price, better go for a reliable brand like Samsung. For me, this China phone is not worth ₹74,000, and this is my honest experience after one full day of use. Guys! I am giving my honest review for the only people how will buy this phone in EMI and not for Nepo Kids or Rich kids.
